The main therapeutic function of Zhuling is diuresis and dampness dispersion. It is used for symptoms such as difficult urination, edema, athlete's foot, diarrhea, cloudy urine, and abnormal vaginal discharge.
I. Zhuling Porridge
Ingredients: 10g Zhuling, 100g rice, a little sugar.
Instructions: Wash the Zhuling first and set aside. Add an appropriate amount of water to a pot, add Zhuling, boil and remove the residue to obtain the decoction. Cook rice porridge with the decoction, add sugar when cooked, and simmer for 1-2 more boils. Take one dose daily.

II. Zhuling, Melon Peel, and Crucian Carp Soup
Ingredients: 500g crucian carp, 30g Zhuling, 30g melon peel, 4 slices of ginger.
Instructions: Remove scales, gills, and internal organs from the crucian carp, wash and set aside. Wash Zhuling, melon peel, and ginger. Add an appropriate amount of water to a pot, add crucian carp, Zhuling, and melon peel, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for 2 hours over low heat. Season and serve.
Medicinal effects: This soup strengthens the spleen, dispels dampness, reduces swelling, and promotes diuresis. It is suitable for those who are physically weak, have poor appetite, have difficulty urinating, and have jaundice of the skin.
