[Clinical Application]
For the treatment of neurodermatitis, inject 50% Gao Ben injection into the affected area subcutaneously.
Generally, each lesion is injected twice a week, 5-10 ml each time; if there are more lesions or a larger range, they can be injected alternately every day, so that each lesion can be injected twice within one week.
After each injection in the evening, local hot compress can be used to avoid the formation of induration.
139 cases were treated, and the observation period was 1-4 months. 46 cases were cured (all rashes disappeared and no itching), 44 cases were effective (more than 2/3 of the rashes disappeared, and there was no obvious itching sensation), and 47 cases were effective (partial disappearance of rashes, still with some itching sensation), 2 cases were ineffective.
The effective rate was 98.5% (among them, 6 cases were also used with a small amount of 0.5% hydrocortisone cream). Generally, itching sensation decreased after 2-4 injections and gradually improved; those with small lesions could be cured after 8-10 injections, up to 20 injections.
During the treatment, there were generally no significant side effects. In individual cases, allergic reactions or urticaria-like rashes occurred; swelling and pain occurred at the injection site, which could be treated symptomatically. The drug should be stopped if allergies occur.
