Windproof powder is a traditional Chinese medicine prescription, composed of herbs such as windproof, qianghuo, and jingjie. 【Composition】

Qianghuo, jingjie, windproof, zhike, roasted silkworm (without silk), and peppermint, all equal parts.

【Usage and Dosage】

Grind into a fine powder. Boil with water and take it on an empty stomach while warm.

【Pharmacological Analysis】

Qianghuo: It releases the exterior, dispels wind, and relieves pain. It is used to treat wind-cold colds, wind-cold damp arthralgia, stiff neck and shoulders, sore and painful joints, wind-damp edema, abscesses, and ulcers.

Jingjie: It releases the exterior, dispels wind, promotes rash eruption, and resolves sores. It is used for colds, headaches, measles, rubella, and early-stage abscesses.

Windproof: It has the effects of inducing sweating, resolving phlegm, dispelling wind, releasing the exterior, and relieving pain. It is used to treat colds, headaches, whole-body joint pain, and neuralgia.

Zhike: It promotes qi circulation, relieves stagnation, and reduces bloating. It is commonly used for chest and hypochondriac fullness, distension and pain, indigestion, phlegm-fluid retention, and organ prolapse.

Peppermint: It is a diaphoretic and antipyretic medicine, used to treat influenza, headaches, red eyes, fever, pharyngitis, and swollen and painful gums.

Avoid consuming hot foods.
