Clinical Manifestations of Liver Yang Hyperactivity Headache:


    Headache with dizziness, often accompanied by throbbing on both sides; usually more on one side. Irritability, insomnia or restless sleep, flushed face, bitter taste in mouth, sometimes accompanied by rib pain. Red tongue with thin yellow coating, wiry or thin and rapid pulse.
 
 

 



 【Tomato Porridge】  
  Ingredients: 250g tomatoes, 100g sago, 150g sugar, a little rose brine.
Preparation: Cut a cross on the skin of tomatoes, scald them with hot water, peel and dice. Cook the sago (pre-soaked in warm water) in boiling water for a while, then add the diced tomatoes and bring to a boil. Add sugar and rose brine for seasoning.
Efficacy: Clearing heat, cooling blood, and calming the liver.
Usage: Take twice daily, can be served as a dessert.
 
 【Tianma Fish Head】  
  Ingredients: 25g tianma, 10g chuanxiong, 10g poria cocos, 1 fresh carp head (about 1000g).
Preparation: Slice the chuanxiong and poria cocos. Soak them with tianma in a second rice washing water for 4-6 hours. Remove the tianma, steam it on top of cooked rice until well cooked, then slice it. Put the tianma slices, chuanxiong, and poria cocos into the cleaned fish belly, place it in a bowl, add ginger and green onion, steam for 30 minutes. Make a seasoned soup according to the usual method and pour it over the fish.
Efficacy: Calming the liver, tranquilizing the mind, promoting blood circulation, and relieving pain.
Usage: Eat with meals.
