What is Blood Herb
According to "Yunnan Medicinal Plants", Blood Herb is called Blood Herb because its roots and rhizomes are red, and when broken, they exude a red liquid resembling blood, hence the name Blood Herb.
The whole herb and root bark of Blood Herb can be used as medicine. It has a pungent and warm taste and has the effects of dispelling wind, activating collaterals, dispersing stasis, relieving itching, promoting blood circulation, and diuresis.
It can be used to treat various symptoms such as acute and chronic nephritis, rheumatic pain, rubella itching, sequelae of infantile paralysis, chronic lumbago and leg pain, contusion and pain, fractures, sprains, bruises, and edema.
Blood Herb Can Treat Diseases
①Treatment of acute and chronic nephritis
Blood Herb 5 qian, Jiupinghua root 1 liang, Shanpitiao, Shijiaocao 4 qian. Decoction and take orally. (Selected Compilation of Internal Medicine)
②Treatment of rheumatic pain, rubella
Blood Herb in moderation. Decoction and wash the affected area.
