【Source】 It is the whole plant of the leguminous plant Gansu Ji Dou.

【Plant Morphology】 Gansu Ji Dou is a perennial herb, 15-20 cm tall.

The base branches, sparsely covered with long white hairs and occasional black short hairs.

The leaves are pinnately compound, 5-10 cm long; the leaf axis has grooves on the upper surface, densely covered with white and black long hairs;

The stipules are lanceolate, connate at the base and separated from the petiole; there are 13-25 leaflets, ovate or lanceolate, 8-13 mm long, 4-6 mm wide, with gradually pointed tips and round bases, and densely covered with long hairs on both sides.

The inflorescence is cymose, axillary; the peduncle is 5.5-15 cm long, with white and black long hairs; the calyx is campanulate, about 9 mm long, about 3 mm wide, densely covered with black and white long hairs, with lanceolate teeth, nearly as long as the tube; the corolla is yellow, about 12 mm long.

The pod is oblong or oblong-ovate, 8-12 mm long, swollen, and densely covered with black long hairs.

It grows in dry grasslands, slopes, riversides, or under forests. It is distributed in Gansu, Qinghai, Sichuan, Yunnan and other places.
