Breeding Methods and Care Tips for Lo Xin Fu: A Medicinal Plant with Multiple Benefits

February 22, 2024

Lo Xin Fu has high medicinal value and has good therapeutic effects on many diseases. If it is bred indoors, it also has many benefits, such as purifying the air and beautifying the environment. Let's take a look at the breeding methods of Lo Xin Fu!

1. Reproduction

Lo Xin Fu is mainly propagated by sowing and division. Sowing is generally done in autumn, while division is done in early spring.

2. Soil

Cultivating Lo Xin Fu requires selecting suitable soil. Generally, loose, fertile, and well-drained sandy soil is preferred. Some organic fertilizers can be added to the soil to provide various elements needed for the growth of Lo Xin Fu. The soil should not be too barren.

3. Light

Lo Xin Fu prefers a cool and well-lit growing environment and requires sufficient light to flower well. During hot summers with strong sunlight, direct sunlight should be avoided and appropriate shading should be provided. In winter with less light, artificial lighting can be used to supplement.

4. Temperature

The temperature needs to be maintained within a suitable range. The optimal temperature for its growth is between 15°C and 35°C, and the overwintering temperature in winter should not be lower than 3°C to 5°C.

5. Watering

Lo Xin Fu prefers a slightly moist growing environment and has higher requirements for fertilizer. If it lacks water and nutrients, it will affect the growth of Lo Xin Fu. During the growth period, the soil needs to be kept moist, but not waterlogged.

6. Fertilizing

Fertilization should be based on the growth status of the plants. Some nitrogen fertilizer or compound fertilizer containing multiple elements should be applied, but the nitrogen content should not be too high. To promote flowering, some phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be applied before flowering.
