  Application of Dawei Yao in prescription selection

  1. Treatment of pneumonia, lung abscess, empyema

  Take 100g of fresh Dawei Yao whole herb, decoct with water and add honey for oral administration; or crush and squeeze 100-200g of fresh whole herb, mix with honey for oral administration.

  2. Treatment of oral ulcers

  Crush and squeeze the fresh leaves of Dawei Yao, and use the juice for gargling, 4-6 times a day.

  3. Treatment of testicular swelling and pain

  Take 100g of fresh Dawei Yao root, decoct with water and take orally.

  4. Treatment of infantile convulsions

  Take 12g of dried Dawei Yao root and 9g of dried Huangdancao. Add a little salt and stew with water for oral administration.

  1. Internal use

  Decoct and take orally, 15-30g, for fresh herb, 50-100g

  2. External use

  Use an appropriate amount for external use, decoct with water for washing or crush and squeeze for gargling.

  Contraindications of Dawei Yao

  Pregnant women should not take it.
