Golden Sand Beetle is the dried body of the larva of the antlion Myrmeleon formicarius Linnaeus.

Origin: It is mainly produced in Guangdong, Guangxi, Shandong, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Hunan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Hainan, and other places.

Harvesting and processing: It can be captured all year round. It is usually sieved from the sand where the antlion lives in summer and autumn. After capture, it is lightly stir-fried over low heat until the body of the insect expands.
