Modifications: If the condition is mainly Qi stagnation, with severe chest and rib distention, aromatic herbs like Xiang Fu can be used in larger amounts, or add herbs like Chuan Lian Zi, Yu Jin, and Mu Xiang to promote Qi circulation and relieve pain. If the condition is mainly cold congealing, due to exposure to cold or consumption of cold food, with severe stomach pain and a preference for warmth, strong herbs like Gao Liang Jiang can be used in larger amounts, or add herbs like Gan Jiang, Wu Zhu Yu, and Gui Zhi to enhance the warming and dispelling cold effects. For dysmenorrhea caused by Qi stagnation and cold congealing, add herbs like Dang Gui, Chuan Xiong, and Bai Shao to invigorate blood circulation, regulate menstruation, and relieve pain.

【Precautions】
