Winter Warming Recipes for a Healthy Stomach

Ingredients: 30-50 white peppers, one pork stomach.

Directions: Wash the pork stomach and crush the white pepper (wrap it in gauze) and fill it into the pork stomach. Cook until the soup thickens and the stomach is tender, then season with salt.

Recipe 4: Pepper Lamb Soup

Ingredients: 150 grams of lamb, 10 grams of pepper, 6 grams of tangerine peel, 15 grams of ginger.

Directions: Wash the lamb and cut it into pieces, then stir-fry it in a pot. Wash the pepper, tangerine peel, and ginger, and put them into the pot with the lamb. Add an appropriate amount of water and bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat for 1-2 hours, then season and serve.

Recipe 5: Cinnamon and Cardamom Stewed Beef Brisket

Ingredients: 250 grams of fresh beef brisket, 3 grams of cinnamon, 6 grams of cardamom, 3 grams of tangerine peel, 3 slices of ginger.

Directions: Scrape off the rough skin of the cinnamon, crush the cardamom, wash the tangerine peel and ginger. Wash the beef brisket and blanch it to remove the gamey smell. Put all the ingredients into a stew pot and add enough cold water. Stew over low heat for 2 hours, then season and serve.

Recipe 6: Ginseng, Astragalus, and Monkey Head Mushroom Stewed Chicken

Ingredients: 12 grams of astragalus, 12 grams of ginseng (available at Chinese medicine stores), 100 grams of monkey head mushroom, 6 jujubes, 1 female chicken, 2-3 slices of ginger.

Directions: Rinse the Chinese herbs and soak them briefly. Wash the monkey head mushroom and soak until it expands, then squeeze out the excess water to remove bitterness, and cut into thick slices. Wash the chicken and remove the internal organs. Put all the ingredients into a large stew pot, add 1500 ml of cold water (about 6 bowls), and simmer over low heat for 3 hours. Season with salt and sesame oil before serving.

Effects: Tonifying qi, invigorating the spleen, and nourishing the stomach. The astragalus in the soup replenishes qi and nourishes blood, and produces fluid.
