  [Uses of Nuomi Vine]

Due to the slightly bitter taste of Nuomi Vine, it is not as popular as ferns or skewered loach in terms of taste, so even in rural areas, few people pick Nuomi Vine to eat. However, in childhood, it was common to pick Nuomi Vine to feed pigs.

Speaking of pork that is often eaten with this wild vegetable, it tastes much better than the pork of today's feed pigs. Pork raised on wild vegetables has a delicious aroma when cooked.

It is worth mentioning that although rural people often say "medicine is three parts poison," Nuomi Vine is not included in this category. In addition, Nuomi Vine can also be used as an external remedy for injuries and fractures.

Eating too much Nuomi Vine does not need to worry about poisoning, but it may cause general weakness. This is due to individual constitution. For example, people with kidney deficiency and cold constitution may feel weak after eating too much Nuomi Vine.

Nuomi Vine is a commonly used folk herb. Yunnan Yi medicine often uses fresh mashed Nuomi Vine roots for external application of poisoned sores and mammary abscesses. It is called "Small Baidu San" and "Small Iron Hoop" because of its good effect on treating sores and ulcers.
