Insufficient Blood and Qi Type Periodontal Disease

 

 

[Symptoms] Pale and atrophic gums, exposed tooth roots, loose teeth, frequent gum bleeding, bleeding during brushing and sucking, acid mouth, pale complexion, dizziness, insomnia and vivid dreams, pale tongue, thin white coating, thready pulse.


 

 



 

[Dietary Therapy]

 

  1. Ginseng and Astragalus Pig Spine Soup: 30g ginseng, 50g astragalus, 200g pig spine, put them in a clay pot and simmer for 3 hours, drink the soup and eat the meat.
 

  2. Ginseng, Goji Berry and Chicken Soup: 30g ginseng, 30g goji berries, 20g round meat, 150g chicken, put them in a clay pot and simmer the soup, add a small amount of wine and salt to taste when cooked. Take 1-2 times a day.

 

  3. Astragalus, Red Dates, Goji Berry and Yellow Eel Soup: 300g yellow eel, 30g astragalus, 30g goji berries, 6 pitted red dates, 3 slices of ginger. First, clean the yellow eel, marinate it with salt to remove any impurities, and blanch it in boiling water to remove the fishy smell. Slice it and set aside. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the ginger until fragrant, add a small amount of rice wine, and remove after a while. Then put the astragalus, goji berries, red dates, and eel into the clay pot, add an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for 1 hour over low heat, season and consume.

 

  4. Astragalus, Longan, Chinese Wolfberry and Beef Soup: 250g beef, 10g longan meat, 15g astragalus, 10g Chinese wolfberry, a little green bean sprouts. First, slice the beef, boil it in water to make a clear broth, remove the foam and floating oil, then add astragalus, Chinese wolfberry, and longan meat and simmer until the water is reduced by half. Finally, season with wine and salt, and add bean sprouts to cook before serving.
