The ginseng can be used again the next day with the same method of steaming the wood lotus fruit, and this can be repeated for three times.

This soup has the effect of replenishing qi and invigorating the spleen, suitable for post-illness weakness, spleen deficiency with weight loss, fatigue, spontaneous sweating, and diarrhea, among other symptoms.

2. Stewed pig stomach with wood lotus fruit

Wash a pig stomach and stuff it with 40 wood lotus fruits (without the core), then sew it up with thread. Stew until cooked, then slice the pig stomach and place it in a dish with the wood lotus fruits. Add an appropriate amount of sesame oil, salt, green onion, ginger, and garlic for seasoning before consumption.

This dish has the effect of invigorating the spleen and stomach, nourishing deficiency, and replenishing qi. It is suitable for reduced appetite, weight loss with diarrhea, and edema, among other symptoms.
