  Methods of Consuming Zhuye Shen

  Ingredients: 30-50g white ginseng, 20g Zhuye Shen, 20g Angelica sinensis, 20g Astragalus membranaceus, 20g Codonopsis pilosula, 20g Dioscorea opposita, 20g Lily bulb, 10g Red dates, 10g Goji berries, 2 slices of ginger.

  Instructions:

  1. Remove the internal organs and head and tail of the black chicken and wash it.

  2. Wash all the herbs and soak them in a small amount of water for a while.

  3. Put the black chicken into a pot, pour in enough water, and heat it over high heat. Remove any foam that floats to the surface.

  4. Add the soaked herbs and water to the pot. Simmer over low heat for 2 hours. Add salt for seasoning before eating.

  Formula: 10-15g Cuscuta chinensis, 8-12g Cortex magnoliae officinalis, 6-13g Os draconis, 8-14g Lycopodium clavatum, 9-14g Gentiana scabra, 11-14g Poria cocos, 10-16g Zhuye Shen, 12-15g Taxillus chinensis, 9-16g Tribulus terrestris, 8-12g Gastrodia elata, 6-12g Uncaria rhynchophylla, 10-18g Dioscorea opposita, 7-16g Dioscorea bulbifera, 9-16g Trichosanthes kirilowii, 8-13g Fagopyrum cymosum.

  Effect: This formula has been summarized through years of clinical practice and has the function of dispelling wind and dampness, promoting blood circulation, and relieving pain. It has significant therapeutic effects.
