  【Efficacy and Usage of Emaohuang】

Although the name of Emaohuang may sound strange, it is of high value. In the past, in rural areas, when farmers fell ill, they would go to the mountains to dig some herbs to treat their illnesses. Among them, Emaohuang was a commonly used medicinal material for the farmers.

Farmers would dig out Emaohuang and dry them in the sun all year round. When they had stomach problems, they would boil it in water and drink it to alleviate the discomfort.

In addition, stewing meat with Emaohuang is excellent. It not only tastes good but also treats malnutrition. When children have malnutrition and refuse to eat, stewing meat with Emaohuang and giving it to them can not only increase their appetite but also improve their malnutrition.

In the "National Compendium of Chinese Herbal Medicine," there is also a record of a method of using Emaohuang to treat malnutrition in children: 30g of Emaohuang, stewed with pork, and taken as soup. It is almost the same as the folk remedy.

In addition to treating stomach pain and malnutrition in children, Emaohuang can also prevent heatstroke. In the summer, you can directly boil it in soup and drink it.

It can be used not only internally but also externally. It has a remarkable effect on treating snake bites. So, don't underestimate the "Emaohuang" plant when you see it in the countryside and avoid stepping on it casually.
