Clinical manifestations of hot-toxin-induced neurodermatitis:


The skin lesions are widespread throughout the body, presenting as large areas of infiltrated erythematous patches, with occasional scratch marks, scabs, and lichenification. Patients often experience relentless itchiness, restlessness, internal heat, thirst for cold drinks, dark urine, dry stools, red tongue with yellow dry coating, and rapid slippery pulse.
 

 



 [Soup with Fishy Odor Bean]  
  Formula: 30g mung beans, 20g seaweed, 15g Houttuynia cordata.
Method: Boil the above three ingredients in water, remove the Houttuynia cordata, and season with an appropriate amount of white sugar.
Efficacy: Clears heat and detoxifies.
Usage: Drink the soup and eat the beans and seaweed. Take once a day for 7 consecutive days.
 
 [Mung Bean Lily and Coix Seed Porridge]  
  Formula: 50g Coix seed, 25g mung beans, 100g fresh lily bulbs.
Method: Break the lily bulbs into petals, remove the inner membrane, cook the mung beans and coix seed in water until 50% cooked, then add the lily bulbs and simmer the porridge over low heat, season with white sugar.
Efficacy: Nourishes yin, clears heat, removes dampness, and detoxifies.
Usage: Take 1-2 times daily.
 
 [Amaranth and Watercress Soup]  
  Formula: 30g Amaranth, 30g watercress.
Method: Boil the above two ingredients in water, and extract the juice.
Efficacy: Clears heat, removes dampness, cools blood, and detoxifies.
Usage: Drink the soup once daily.
 
 [Mashed Chinese Gallnut and Jujube Decoction]  
  Formula: 30g jujube, 30g Chinese gallnut.
Method: Boil the above two ingredients in water.
Efficacy: Clears heat, detoxifies, and cools blood.
