Boosting Immunity: Medicinal Recipes for a Stronger Defense System

Medicinal Recipe 1: Dang Shen Jujube Stewed Pork Ribs

Ingredients: 30g Dang Shen, 8 jujubes, 500g pork ribs, ginger, green onion, monosodium glutamate, pepper powder, cooking wine, and salt, all to taste.

Instructions: Rinse the Dang Shen and cut it into 3cm sections; wash the jujubes and remove the pits; wash and chop the pork ribs into approximately 4cm sections; wash the ginger and green onion, lightly crush the ginger, and cut the green onion into sections; then, place the pork ribs, Dang Shen, jujubes, ginger, green onion, cooking wine, and an appropriate amount of water into a stewing pot. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat until cooked. Finally, season with salt, monosodium glutamate, and pepper powder.

Medicinal Recipe 2: Ginger Angelica Lamb Pot

Ingredients: 30g ginger, 20g Angelica sinensis, 500g lamb, 2g chicken essence, 10ml cooking wine, 3g pepper powder, 50g carrot, 25g oil, 10g green onion, 4g salt, and 2g monosodium glutamate.

Instructions: Wash the ginger and Angelica sinensis, then slice them; fry the Angelica sinensis with cooking wine; chop the lamb into cubes; peel and wash the carrot, then cut it into segments; put the ginger, Angelica sinensis, lamb, green onion, pepper powder, and cooking wine into a stewing pot, add 2500ml of water, and bring to a boil over high heat. Then, simmer over low heat for about 45 minutes. Finally, add an appropriate amount of salt, chicken essence, pepper powder, and monosodium glutamate.

Medicinal Recipe 3: Astragalus and Ginseng Stewed Live Fish

Ingredients: 1 live carp, 25g Astragalus, 25g Dang Shen, 10ml cooking wine, 5g ginger, 10g green onion, 3g salt, 2g chicken essence, and 2g monosodium glutamate.

Instructions: Wash the Astragalus and Dang Shen; clean and prepare the live carp, then fry it in hot oil until golden brown; put all the ingredients except for the monosodium glutamate into a pot and stew together. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat until the soup thickens. Remove the Astragalus and Dang Shen, and season with monosodium glutamate.

Effects: This recipe can tonify the heart and spleen, nourish qi and blood.

Medicinal Recipe 4: Tremella and Pig Liver Soup

Ingredients: 10g Tremella, 50g pig liver, 50g baby bok choy, green onion, ginger, cornstarch, salt, soy sauce, and an egg, all to taste.

Instructions: Soak the Tremella in warm water, then remove the stem and tear it into pieces; wash the pig liver and cut it into thin slices; wash the baby bok choy and cut it into approximately 5cm sections; slice the ginger and cut the green onion into sections; put the pig liver in a bowl, add an appropriate amount of cornstarch, salt, and soy sauce, and beat in the egg. Heat the casserole, add oil, and sauté the ginger and green onion until fragrant. Then, add about 300ml of water, bring to a boil, and add the Tremella and pig liver. Cook for 10 minutes.
