【Efficacy of Zi Zhuye】
Zi Zhuye has the effects of promoting blood circulation, stopping bleeding, and clearing heat and detoxification. It is mainly used for treating vomiting of blood, coughing up blood, nosebleeds, bleeding from the anus, irregular menstruation, bleeding from wounds, abscesses and swelling, and throat obstruction.

【Medical Uses of Zi Zhuye】
1. Treatment of gastric bleeding and hematemesis
Zi Zhuye has good hemostatic effects and can be used to treat gastric bleeding and hematemesis in humans.
In treatment, take 10 to 15 grams of Zi Zhuye, boil it with water, and then take it orally once a day. Additionally, Zi Zhuye can also be used to stop bleeding from external injuries. In this case, grind the Zi Zhuye into powder and apply it directly to the wound.
2. Treatment of snake bites
If accidentally bitten by a snake in nature, Zi Zhuye can also be used for treatment and has a good detoxification effect.
For treatment, crush fresh Zi Zhuye into a paste and apply it externally to the bitten area. Change the dressing twice a day. This method is also effective for treating human ulcers and swellings.
【Usage of Zi Zhuye】
1. Treatment of coughing up blood: Take 5 to 7 parts of dried Zi Zhuye powder, mix it with egg white, and take it every four hours. Continue with 2 grams of dried Zi Zhuye powder, decocted in water, and drink it as tea regularly.
2. Treatment of bleeding from wounds: Take fresh Zi Zhuye, wash it with cold water, mash it, and apply it to the wound. Alternatively, use powdered dried Zi Zhuye and apply it to the wound with gauze after disinfection.
3. Treatment of internal injuries with bleeding from falls or blows: Take fresh Zi Zhuye and Chinese yam in a ratio of 2:1, and rock sugar in the amount of one liang. Stew with boiling water and take it in two doses.
4. Treatment of all kinds of sore throat: Take one liang of fresh Zi Zhuye, wash it, add two bowls of water, decoct it to one bowl, and drink it. It can also be decocted as tea for regular consumption.
