Sweeping Away Yin Evil: The Power of Zhenwu Decoction and Sini Decoction

"Zhenwu Decoction" and "Sini Decoction", which is better

"Zhenwu Decoction" and "Sini Decoction" can be regarded as the best among all decoctions. They can solve 80% of diseases... When I say this, many people may want to criticize it. In fact, the reason is the 8/2 law mentioned in the previous issue. 80% of human diseases are caused by cold. Therefore, in this issue, we will thoroughly explain: the fundamental method for treating cold diseases...

But don't misunderstand that all diseases only need Zhenwu Decoction and Sini Decoction. Actually, what I want to say here is a "method" to assist the yuan yang...

Why use these two decoctions as the topic? It is because these two decoctions are like yin and yang, they are the general method and the general direction. As mentioned in the previous issue, 80% of human diseases are cold diseases. As long as it is a cold disease, these two prescriptions are the general principles for treating cold diseases.

Zhenwu Decoction is like the "Dugu Nine Swords", it is a sweeping method, sweeping away the yin evil in the lower jiao.

Sini Decoction is like the abbot of Shaolin Temple, with profound internal strength, protecting the yuan yang.

First of all, let's focus on the word "sweeping"...

Cold and dampness are yin, yin governs sinking, yang governs rising and ascending. It is the natural law that things that sink must enter the lower jiao. Whatever we eat or drink that contains cold and dampness is yin energy, which will sink into the kan (water) position. Therefore, in clinical practice, we often see many cases of upper heat and lower cold. It can be said that at least half of the diseases are due to the characteristics of this yin energy...

And the "sweeping" here, what does it mean? It means to sweep away the yin evil. In clinical practice, cold diseases without exception have cold and dampness heavier in the lower jiao, forcing the yuan yang to rise and forcing it outwards. However, in this case, it is the so-called external fire going further outwards. Cold and dampness in the lower jiao will cause the external fire not to return to its source. Therefore, when we encounter cold conditions, the primary goal is to sweep away the yin evil.

Let's take a look at the composition of Zhenwu Decoction: Poria cocos, Paeonia lactiflora, fresh ginger, Aconitum, and white atractylodes.

First of all, let's focus on Paeonia lactiflora. This herb is like an eye, it can suppress the external fire, it is a suppressive herb. Looking at the Treatise on Cold Damage, Gui Zhi (Cinnamon Twig) and Paeonia lactiflora, one promotes while the other suppresses. It can be said that the entire Treatise on Cold Damage focuses on promoting and suppressing. When the pathogenic factors are on the surface, they are expelled using promotion. When the pathogenic factors enter the interior, external yang is suppressed to expel them. Paeonia lactiflora is the herb that brings the external fire back to the kan (water) position and the center.

Then, Aconitum stimulates the kidney yang. To give an analogy, Aconitum is like a stimulant. Because the yuan yang in the kan (water) position is injured by cold and dampness, it is like soldiers being damaged. Aconitum stimulates the remaining soldiers, gives them stimulants, and then fights against the enemy one to ten.

Paeonia lactiflora suppresses the external fire, Aconitum stimulates the remaining soldiers. These two herbs are the energy of the entire Zhenwu Decoction. Then, combined with fresh ginger, white atractylodes, and Poria cocos, these three herbs are the weapons. If you want to do a good job, you must first sharpen your weapons. With energy and weapons, you can quickly defeat the enemy. Therefore, fresh ginger, white atractylodes, and Poria cocos are the "brooms" for sweeping away cold and dampness.

Zhenwu Decoction is actually a method, a method of sweeping away yin evil, it is the general principle. Other prescriptions such as Poria Cocos Sini Decoction, Shibi Powder, Sini Wuling Powder... and so on, all these are variations of the "sweeping method". Any method of removing external yin evil can be collectively referred to as the "sweeping method".

The key point is that we need to know the role of this sweeping method.

The principle is simple. If there is water in your home, do you directly burn it to dry it, or do you first sweep out most of the water and then burn the remaining wet areas to dry them?

Therefore, the sweeping method of Zhenwu Decoction, I call it the Dugu Nine Swords. First, sweep away most of the yin evil, and then it is the Sini Decoction, the abbot with profound internal strength, which is to use fire to dry the remaining cold and dampness...

All martial arts in the world can break through, only "fuyu" cannot be broken

The word "fuyu" fully represents the essence of Sini Decoction. What is "fuyu"? It is to suppress the fire! Sini Decoction firmly protects the fire in the lower jiao. When we use the method of Zhenwu Decoction to sweep away the yin evil, the enemy troops are swept away, and our own troops are also damaged. At this time, we need to use the method of Sini Decoction to ignite the fire. First, it can drive away the remaining cold and dampness, and second, it can warm and strengthen yang.
