【Cultivation Method of Luo Shuang Hong】

1. Soil

Luo Shuang Hong prefers fertile soil, but it can also grow well in general soil without strict environmental requirements. It is advisable to use fertile, loose soil rich in humus, with good water permeability and air permeability. Acidic or neutral soil can be used. For potted plants, it is best to mix leaf mold soil or pond river mud with 20% sand after weathering, to facilitate the growth and development of the root system.

2. Light

Luo Shuang Hong prefers moist and semi-shaded areas, so it is necessary to pull up shading nets during noon when the sunlight is particularly strong, to avoid high temperatures caused by strong light, which may affect the growth of Luo Shuang Hong.

After 4 pm, when the sunlight is weaker, the shading nets should be closed. However, it is important to note that the shading net should be like a shady shed, providing a comfortable environment for the plants.

3. Fertilization

Luo Shuang Hong does not require too much fertilizer. Just apply foliar fertilizer appropriately. Water-soluble flower fertilizer can be used, with a ratio of 5 grams to 2 kilograms of water.

After the solution is prepared, it can be sprayed. The best time for spraying is from 4 pm to 6 pm, and the amount of water should be enough to completely spray the leaves. It can be done once every half month.

4. Pest Prevention

The plants are prone to aphid damage. For aphids, prevention is the most important. You can spray with 800 times diluted liquid of oxidized dimethoate.

The spraying should be done between 8 am and 10 am or after 4 pm. The standard for the amount of pesticide is to completely spray the leaves. For potted plants, spraying once every 5 days is enough.
