Women's Health Medicinal Diet

  Kudzu Root

  Kudzu Root and Pork Ribs Soup

  

  Ingredients: 100g kudzu root, 250g pork ribs.

  

  Instructions: Wash the pork ribs and blanch them with boiling water. Cook them with kudzu root over high heat, then simmer for 1 hour over low heat. Add salt to taste.

  

  Chinese Lovage Rhizome

  Xiaoyao Porridge

  

  Ingredients: 10g bupleurum, 10g white peony root, 10g Chinese lovage rhizome, 10g glutinous rice.

  

  Instructions: Boil bupleurum, white peony root, and Chinese lovage rhizome in water, remove the residue and keep the juice. Cook the glutinous rice with the juice to make porridge. Add an appropriate amount of rock sugar when the porridge is almost ready, and cook for a while.

  

  Safflower

  Mushroom and Safflower Soup

  

  Ingredients: 30g mushrooms, 6g safflower, 100g cucumber.

  

  Instructions: Heat the wok over high heat, add vegetable oil, and when it is 60% hot, add ginger and onions and stir-fry until fragrant. Add 500ml of water and bring to a boil. Add mushrooms, cucumber slices, safflower, and salt. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.

  Jujube and Longan Egg Soup

  

  Ingredients: 200g eggs, 50g longan, 30g jujube (dried), 30g Chinese angelica, 50g brown sugar

  

  Instructions: Boil the eggs, remove the shells, take a clay pot, add longan, jujube, Chinese angelica, and water, and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Add the cooked eggs and brown sugar and simmer for 15 minutes.

  

  Motherwort

  

  Motherwort can promote blood circulation, resolve stasis, diuretic, and reduce swelling. It is mainly used for menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, postpartum stasis and pain, retained placenta, postpartum hemorrhage, blood stasis abdominal pain, bruises, kidney disease edema, difficult urination, hematuria, abscesses, ulcers. "Ben Cao Meng Quan" believes that it has the functions of "removing dead fetus, facilitating childbirth, promoting blood circulation, and producing new blood". Due to its slightly cold nature, it is especially suitable for women with large blood loss, red complexion, and heat intolerance.

  Ingredients: 300g motherwort, 50g carrots, 50g wood ear fungus, 50g tremella
