Clinical Manifestations of Lung Yin Deficiency Type Chronic Pharyngitis:

Dryness and itching in the mouth and throat, hoarseness, dry cough and shortness of breath, scanty sticky phlegm, night sweats, restlessness and heat in the five hearts, red tongue with little coating, thin and rapid pulse.


Maidong Pea Jelly

Ingredients: 20g Maidong, 150g Peas, 200g Sugar, 2g Agar, a little Qingmei and Guihua.

Method: Boil the peas until soft, then remove the skins by rubbing through a sieve. Cook the agar with Maidong until the agar melts, then add sugar and Qingmei and Guihua. Spread the pea puree in a bowl, then mix in the agar syrup. Cool and freeze in the refrigerator.

Method: Chop Jinyinhua and Maidong into small pieces. Dice the mushrooms, marinate the shredded pork with a little egg white, soak the dried mushrooms until soft, then slice them. Beat the eggs and place them in a bowl. Mix Jinyinhua, Maidong, mushrooms, shredded pork, dried mushrooms, oil, salt, and MSG in the egg mixture. Steam over water for 15 minutes, then remove.
