Source: The whole plant of Scrophularia buergeriana Miq. in the family Scrophulariaceae.

Dujiaogan

Clears the liver, strengthens the spleen, aids digestion, and kills parasites. It is used to treat infantile malnutrition, marasmus, jaundice, and night blindness.

Dujiaogan

1. Treatment of infantile marasmus and night blindness

Dujiaogan, three to five qian. Boil with pig liver and take it once a day. ("Fujian Folk Herbal Medicine")

2. Treatment of infantile malnutrition

Dry whole plant of Dujiaogan, three to five qian, and Iron Broom Grass leaves, three to five qian. Decoct in water and take it orally. ("Fujian Herbal Medicine")

3. Treatment of night blindness

Dry whole plant of Dujiaogan, five qian to one or two liang. Cook with poultry and livestock liver and take it orally. ("Fujian Herbal Medicine")

Contraindications of Dujiaogan

Pregnant women should not take it.
