1. Lotus Seed and Sea Cucumber Congee

Materials: 100g glutinous rice, 20g sea cucumber, 10g lotus seed, salt, monosodium glutamate, goji berries, sesame oil (as needed)

Method:

1. Wash and soak the glutinous rice; soak the sea cucumber in warm water, then wash and cut into small pieces;

2. Place the pot on the stove, add water, and cook the glutinous rice and sea cucumber until it becomes porridge-like;

3. Add lotus seed powder and goji berries, simmer for a short while, and season with salt and sesame oil.

Efficacy:

1. Sea cucumber: It has the effect of nourishing the kidneys, nourishing essence, nourishing yin and invigorating yang, nourishing blood and essence, regulating menstruation, dispelling fatigue, and nourishing the fetus and facilitating childbirth.

2. Lotus seed: It has the effects of invigorating the spleen and stomach, astringing and consolidating essence, invigorating the center and benefiting qi, nourishing the heart and calming the mind, strengthening the tendons and bones, stopping diarrhea, and diuretic and reducing swelling.

3. Glutinous rice: It has the effects of invigorating the center and benefiting qi, invigorating the spleen and nourishing the stomach, harmonizing the five viscera, opening the four meridians, stopping irritability, thirst, and diarrhea.

4. Lotus Seed and Sea Cucumber Congee: It has the effects of invigorating the center and benefiting qi, invigorating the spleen and nourishing the stomach, harmonizing the five viscera, opening the four meridians, and treating urinary tract infections. It is suitable for frequent urination and turbid urine caused by spleen deficiency.

2. Coix Seed and Wheat Congee

Materials: 50g wheat, 50g mung beans, 5g coix seed

Method:

1. Boil the coix seed in 500ml of water, remove the residue and keep the juice;

2. Add cleaned mung beans and wheat to the juice and cook into congee.

Efficacy:

1. Wheat: Nourishes the heart, invigorates the kidneys, harmonizes the blood, and strengthens the spleen.

2. Mung beans: Clears heat, detoxifies, has antibacterial and bacteriostatic effects, and is anti-allergic.

3. Coix seed: Clears heat, diuresis, and promotes lactation.

4. Coix Seed and Wheat Congee: Treats urinary tract infections and is suitable for acute urinary tract infections.

3. Double Rice Congee

Materials: 30g coix seed, 50g glutinous rice, sugar (as needed)

Method:

1. Wash the coix seed and glutinous rice separately;

2. Boil the glutinous rice and coix seed with an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat;

3. Reduce the heat and simmer until the congee is ready, season with sugar. Take it twice a day.

Efficacy:

1. Coix seed: Improves metabolism, eliminates dampness, invigorates qi, and nourishes the kidneys.

2. Glutinous rice: Moistens the intestines, promotes bowel movements, enhances immunity, activates blood circulation, and nourishes the stomach.

3. Double Rice Congee: Treats urinary tract infections and is suitable for urinary tract infections, frequent and painful urination, and cloudy urine. Take it twice a day, 1 bowl each time, for 10-15 days as one treatment course.
