Distributed in Gansu, Inner Mongolia, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Shandong, Hebei, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Sichuan and other places.
It is also distributed or naturalized in the Lats Dornoye River Valley in southeastern Mongolia, northern North Korea, and the Russian Far East.
Planting method of Di Ding grass
1. Di Ding grass is propagated by seeds, and about 3 to 4 kilograms of seeds are required per acre. It is usually intercropped with gramineous plants.
During the period between Xiaoshu and Dashu, after the gramineous plants such as corn are ridged, the ground between the rows is shallowly hoed, and the seeds are evenly spread between the rows. Use a large hoe to push once, bury the seeds tightly, water them, and keep the bed surface moist. The seedlings will emerge in about 30 days.
2. After the seedlings of Di Ding grass, water them frequently and strengthen management. When the main autumn crops mature and are harvested, be careful not to bury the Di Ding seedlings.

Before the freeze, water the plants with freezing water and apply circle fertilizer. After the thaw in the following spring, crush and level the manure blocks.
From Qingming to Guyu, when the new leaves of Di Ding grass have not yet covered the ground, apply 10-15 kilograms of urea per acre, and water after application. Stop watering after the beginning of summer to prevent stem and leaf rot and reduce yield.
