3. "Hunan Materia Medica": it is used to treat edema in pregnant women and nodules in the neck.

【Ornamental Value of Nvwei】

The Nvwei plant has a full and beautiful shape, which enhances the ornamental effect. It should not be pruned to avoid cutting off the flower buds and causing no flowers to be enjoyed in the same year.

In general, mild pruning can be done after the plant enters dormancy in autumn, only removing densely packed, slender, and diseased stems and vines. For excessively long and elongated stems and vines, pruning can also be used to shorten them.

The stems of the Nvwei are thin and brittle, and they are easily broken. Attention should be paid to the binding and traction of the stems. For branches that need to be preserved, protection should be taken during operation to prevent breakage.

In garden cultivation, wooden or bamboo scaffolding can be used for the new stems and vines to grow and wrap around, forming a tower shape. Nvwei can also be cultivated near green corridor pillars for climbing and growth.

It can also be arranged in sparse shrub fences, allowing it to climb on the shrub fences and turning them into flower hedges. It can also be arranged on walls, pergolas, balconies, porches, and other places, creating an elegant and unique effect.
