Cliff pine is the whole herb with roots of the Sedum aizoon in the Crassulaceae family. It is mainly distributed in Shaanxi, Gansu, Henan, Hubei, Sichuan and other provinces in China. It has the effect of clearing heat and detoxifying and is commonly used to treat symptoms such as furuncle swelling and damp sores.
Cliff pine grows under the trees on the hillside. It is cold-resistant, drought-resistant, and likes abundant sunlight. It can also tolerate some shade and does not require high soil requirements, but good drainage is necessary.
Landscape use: It can be used to arrange flower beds and flower gardens, or planted in patches as ground cover plants for slope protection. It can also be used to decorate rock gardens.
Cultivation and propagation: It can be propagated by sowing, dividing, and cutting. It can be divided in spring and autumn, and cutting propagation is relatively simple and can be done in any season of the growing period.
The cultivation site should choose well-drained sandy loam or sunny and dry areas. After the first frost, cut off the aboveground parts, water with enough freezing water, and the plants can safely overwinter. It is distributed in Jilin, Liaoning and other places in China.

After the cliff pine survives, do not immediately cover it with a canopy. This can easily cause the cliff pine to be scorched. It is necessary to let the cliff pine slowly adapt to sunlight, so open the canopy gradually.
