Selected prescriptions using Da Wu Pao

1. Treatment of dysentery

Fresh Da Wu Pao root bark 3 liang, fresh Long Ya Cao root 2 liang, fresh Bai Jin Tiao root 1 liang. Decoction and take orally, three to four times a day, two small wine cups each time.

2. Treatment of coughing with blood and weakness in limbs

Fresh Da Wu Pao 2 liang, fresh Ku Ci Tou 1 liang, Kui Hua Gan Xin 5 qian. Add water and decoct until concentrated. Take four times a day, one teacup each time.

3. Treatment of irregular menstruation

Da Wu Pao root, Dao Chu San root each 1 liang, Mao Cao root, Jin Yin Hua Teng each 5 qian. Decoction with water and mix with brown sugar for oral administration, three times a day.

4. Treatment of fractures (unbroken skin)

Da Wu Pao root, Wild Grape root bark, Bai Wei Shen, equal amounts. Crush them together, stir-fry with wine until hot.
