1. Yam and Lotus Seed Rice Milk

Ingredients: 50g rice, 30g yam, 10g lotus seeds

Instructions:

1. Wash the rice and soak it in cold water;

2. Peel and wash the yam, cut it into 2cm pieces and soak it in clean water;

3. Soak the lotus seeds until soft and remove the core;

4. Put the rice, yam, and lotus seeds into a soy milk maker, add water, press the "rice milk" button, and pour into a cup when finished.

Effects:

1. Lotus seeds: The alkaloid found in lotus seeds has an inhibitory effect on nasopharyngeal cancer, making it a nutritious food for cancer prevention and treatment.

2. Yam: Helps invigorate the spleen and stomach, clear heat, promote digestion, and enhance immune function.

3. Rice: Nourishes the spleen, harmonizes the stomach, and clears the lungs.

4. Yam and lotus seed rice milk: Has the effects of clearing heat and detoxification, promoting digestion, strengthening the heart, calming the mind, and preventing and treating cancer.


2. Hawthorn Stewed Beef

Ingredients: 100g hawthorn, 250g lean beef, salt, chicken essence, pepper powder, scallions

Instructions:

1. Wash the hawthorn, remove the seeds and stems; wash the lean beef and cut it into pieces, blanch it in boiling water to remove blood;

2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan until 70% cooked, stir-fry the scallions and pepper powder until fragrant, then add the beef and stir-fry evenly;

3. Add boiling water and hawthorn to the pan, simmer over low heat until cooked, season with salt and chicken essence.

Effects:

1. Hawthorn: Rich in calcium, it helps enhance the body's calcium absorption.

2. Beef: Contains a large amount of iron, and consuming beef helps treat iron-deficiency anemia.

3. Fig, American Ginseng, and Soft-shelled Turtle Soup

Ingredients: 1 soft-shelled turtle, 20g figs, 10g American ginseng, 5 red dates, salt, ginger

Instructions:

1. Clean the soft-shelled turtle and put it in a pot, heat until the water boils;

2. Wash the American ginseng, figs, red dates, and ginger;

3. Put 2 liters of water in a clay pot, boil it, then add all the ingredients;

4. Boil over high heat and simmer for 3 hours, season with salt.

Effects:

1. American ginseng: Nourishes Qi, nourishes Yin, clears heat, and generates fluids. Used for Qi deficiency and Yin deficiency, internal heat, coughing with phlegm and blood, fatigue due to deficiency heat, diabetes, dry mouth, and dry throat.

2. Figs: Has the effects of clearing heat and generating fluids, moistening the lungs and throat, invigorating the spleen and stimulating the appetite, detoxifying and reducing swelling, and aiding digestion.

3. Soft-shelled turtle: Has the effects of invigorating Qi, tonifying deficiency, nourishing the kidneys, strengthening the body, and clearing the blood and dispelling stasis. It has certain auxiliary effects in reducing blood cholesterol, hypertension, and coronary heart disease.

4. Fig, American ginseng, and soft-shelled turtle soup: This soup has the effects of moistening the lungs and relieving thirst, preventing and treating cancer, nourishing Qi and tonifying deficiency, nourishing the kidneys, clearing heat and relieving agitation, invigorating the spleen and nourishing the stomach.
