Chi Jin San clears heat and detoxifies, promotes blood circulation, and reduces swelling. It is used to treat dysentery, excessive white discharge, headaches due to heat, irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, breast abscesses, and injuries caused by falls and strikes.

① "Compilation of Common Folk Medicinal Herbs": Clears heat in the three burners. Used to treat dizziness.

② "Hunan Medicinal Herbs": Acts as an analgesic.

③ "Practical Selection of Medicinal Herbs in Guangxi": Reduces swelling and detoxifies. Used to treat snakebites, abscesses, unknown swellings, and mastitis.

④ "Common Medicinal Herbs in Sichuan": Clears heat, promotes blood circulation. Used to treat internal injuries, headaches and dizziness caused by heat, heavy menstrual bleeding, amenorrhea, cough due to deficiency fire, bloody and white dysentery, and abscesses and ulcers caused by toxins.

Internal use: Decoction, 3-5 qian (fresh herb 0.5-1 liang). External use: Mashed for application.

1. Ecological environment

(1) Grows in damp places such as roadsides, ditches, and grasslands.

(2) Grows in mountain slopes below an altitude of 3000m. Valleys and grasslands.

2. Distribution

(1) Distributed in Southwest China, as well as Shaanxi, Gansu, Taiwan, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, and Tibet.

Dosage of Chi Jin San

1-3 qian. For external use, use an appropriate amount and mash it to apply to the affected area.

Precautions for taking Chi Jin San

1. Avoid taking it if you have weak qi and a deficiency in the surface.

2. Those with stagnant qi should eat less of it. Consuming too much can cause irregular menstruation in women.

3. Pregnant women should be cautious. It is not recommended to use it during pregnancy to avoid causing fetal developmental abnormalities.
