"Compilation of Chinese Medicinal Herbs": "Clears heat, detoxifies, relieves pain, stops coughing. Mainly used for cough due to lung heat, parotitis, mastitis, boils, and abscesses."

1. Treatment of cough due to lung heat: Take 15 grams of Da Jiu Gu Niu root (peeled), 2 grams of Xiang Ling Cao, and 2 grams of Wa Cao. Grind them into powder and take 2 grams per dose, twice a day.

2. Da Jiu Gu Niu Wine

Ingredients: 15 grams of Da Jiu Gu Niu (Gastrodia elata), 500 grams of white wine.
