  【Cultivation Methods of Wolfberry Grass】

Wolfberry grass has strong seed reproductive ability. A normally developed plant can produce hundreds to thousands of seeds, and the weight of dry seeds is about 3.82g.

The seeds are large and light, with hooked barbs. They easily fall off when mature and can be spread by wind and water. They can also be spread by adhering to animals and humans.

The mature seeds of wolfberry grass are in a dormant state and can only germinate and sprout in the following year after wintering. The depth of malt in the soil is 2-4cm, and seeds that do not germinate easily at deep levels can maintain germination power for up to two years.

Wolfberry grass has strong regenerative ability, and a large number of adventitious roots can easily grow from the lower stem. There are axillary buds in the leaf axils of the basal stem and branches. After the aboveground part is damaged, the axillary buds sprout and grow new regenerative branches. As long as the stubble is suitable during the growth period, cutting 2-3 times will not affect regeneration.
