Medicinal Diets for Arteriosclerosis: Softening Blood Vessels and Preventing Disease

Arteriosclerosis is a vascular disease that occurs with age. It usually starts in adolescence and worsens and manifests in middle and old age. It is more common in males. Wash the black fungus, cut into strips, blanch them in boiling water until they are transparent and crispy. Put the soybean sprouts and black fungus in a plate, add sesame oil, refined salt, and MSG, and mix well before eating.

Soybean sprouts can clear heat and dampness, invigorate the spleen, and reduce swelling. Black fungus can nourish Qi, improve intelligence, activate blood circulation, and soften blood vessels. Medicinal Diet 2: Hawthorn and Mimosa Pudica Porridge

Ingredients:

15g fresh hawthorn, 30g mimosa pudica (50g for fresh), 60g polished rice, appropriate amount of white sugar

Instructions:

Boil hawthorn and mimosa pudica together, strain the residue and keep the juice. Cook the washed polished rice in the juice, add sugar when the porridge is cooked, and simmer for a while. Take the porridge warm twice a day, in the morning and evening.

Effects:

This porridge can calm the mind, relieve depression, relax tendons, activate blood circulation, dissolve stasis, promote blood circulation, and soften blood vessels.

 

Medicinal Diet 3: Jade Bamboo Soup

Ingredients:

12g jade bamboo, 20g white sugar

Instructions:

Boil the jade bamboo in water, drink the soup and eat the herb. Take one dose daily.

Effects:

This soup is used to treat arteriosclerosis, nourish Yin and moisten the lungs, nourish the stomach and generate fluid. Jade bamboo contains vitamin A, which can soften blood vessels, and its saponins have a strong heart-strengthening function.
