Traditional Chinese Herbal Remedies for Presbyopia: Nourishing Liver and Kidneys to Improve Vision

Over two thousand years ago, traditional Chinese medicine recognized the pattern of aging in the human body. Presbyopia is mainly caused by liver and kidney depletion.  1. Goji Leaf and Pig Liver Soup

Ingredients: 100g goji leaves, 200g pig liver, seasoning to taste.

 3. Black Bean Congee

Ingredients: 100g black beans, 100g glutinous rice, 50g Job's tears.

Preparation: Wrap the Job's tears in gauze and put them in a pot with the black beans. Add water and simmer. After the black beans bloom, remove the gauze with the Job's tears and add the glutinous rice to cook until done. This congee can be consumed once in the morning and once in the evening.

 4. Sesame Peanut Soy Milk

Ingredients: 15g black sesame seeds, 25g peanuts, 50g soybean powder.

Preparation: Roast the black sesame seeds and peanuts together in a pan, then grind them into a fine powder. Boil the soybean powder with an appropriate amount of water, then add the ground peanuts and black sesame powder, and stir well. This soy milk can be consumed once in the morning and once in the evening.
