  Umbel inflorescence terminal or axillary; flowers white, with slender filiform pedicels; sepals 5, lanceolate, apex pointed, membranous edge, smooth;

  Petals 5, equal to or slightly shorter than the sepals, deeply 2-cleft almost to the base; stamens 5; ovary ovate, style 2-3. The mature fruit is slightly longer than the persistent sepals and splits into 6 lobes.

  2. For treating boils, take a suitable amount of fresh Eupatorium fortunei, add a little salt, mash it into a paste, and apply it to the affected area.

  3. For treating injuries from falls or blows, take 1 liang of Eupatorium fortunei and 2-4 liang of Huangjiu (yellow rice wine), boil with water, and take orally.

  4. For treating snake bites, take 1-2 liang of Eupatorium fortunei, decoct with water, and take orally. Take another handful of the herb, wash it and mash it into a paste, then apply it to the wound.
