Medicinal Uses of Purple Oil Wood Leaves

Purple Oil Wood Leaves are used to treat dysentery, diarrhea, indigestion, eczema, and measles.

1. "Commonly Used Sichuan Chinese Medicinal Herbs": "Relieves pain and promotes digestion. It is used to treat abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloody dysentery, and foot cracks."

2. "Yunnan Chinese Medicinal Herbs": "Clears heat and detoxifies. It is used to treat dysentery, enteritis, diarrhea, ulcers, eczema, measles, and indigestion."

Cultivation of Purple Oil Wood Leaves

Biological Characteristics: It prefers a warm and humid climate with abundant sunlight and well-drained soil.

As the main roots of the plant grow deep into the soil, it is suitable to cultivate it in deep and sandy loam soil rich in humus.

Cultivation Techniques: Propagation is done using seeds. Harvest mature and fully ripe fruits, dry them, and store in sand.

In the following spring, sow the seeds in March, in furrows with a row spacing of 30cm and a seed spacing of 5cm. After covering with soil, water thoroughly to keep the soil moist.

Transplant when seedlings reach a height of 35-40cm. Plant with a spacing of 300cm × 300cm.
