The leaves are arranged in whorls of 3-5, elongated spoon-shaped, 8-20 millimeters long, 2-4 millimeters wide, with acute apex, gradually narrowing base, entire margins, and no or few petioles. The inflorescence is conical or umbel-like, with long branches, and flowers are sparse. The flower stalks are 5-8 millimeters long and slender. There are 5 sepals, narrow triangular to lanceolate. The petals are 5, white, rectangularly ovate. There are 10 stamens. The scales are broadly spoon-shaped with deep notches at the apex.
