Original Form: Perennial erect herb, can grow up to 1 meter tall. The rhizome is thick and brownish. Basal leaves are 1-2 times pinnately compound; leaflets are ovate-heart-shaped, 4-6 cm long, 1.5-3.5 cm wide, gradually pointed at the tip, nearly heart-shaped at the base, oblique, with sharp serrations along the edges, and covered with stiff hairs on both sides; petioles are slender and covered with brown long soft hairs. Large panicles are borne at the top, covered with brown long soft hairs; flowers are pink; stamens are 5. Fruits are capsules; seeds are numerous. Flowering period is in spring.
