Dietary Therapies for Functional Uterine Bleeding: Natural Remedies to Regulate Menstrual Health

Functional uterine bleeding is a common gynecological disease, which refers to abnormal uterine bleeding without systemic and organic lesions in the reproductive organs, but due to dysfunction of the neuroendocrine system. What are the dietary therapies for functional uterine bleeding?


 

1. Black fungus with brown sugar. 120g of black fungus (soaked), 60g of brown sugar. Cook the black fungus first, then add brown sugar and mix well. Take it all at once. Take it continuously for 7 days as one course of treatment. Suitable for functional uterine bleeding.

2. Corn silk and pork soup. 15g-30g of corn silk, 250g of pork. Cook the two ingredients together, then eat the meat and drink the soup after the meat is cooked. Take one dose daily. Suitable for functional uterine bleeding.

3. Chinese plum paste. 1500g of clean Chinese plums. Add 3000ml of water to the Chinese plums and simmer over charcoal fire. When the water evaporates to half, add water to the original amount and simmer until thick. Use a clean gauze to filter out the residue, then bottle it for later use. Add white sugar for taste when taking it. Adults take 5ml-10ml each time, dissolve in boiling water and take it three times a day. Suitable for functional uterine bleeding.

4. Pork skin jelly. 1000g of pork skin, 250g of yellow wine, 250g of brown sugar. Cut the pork skin into small pieces and put it in a large pot with enough water. Stew it over low heat until the skin is tender and the liquid is thick and sticky. Then add yellow wine and brown sugar, mix well and turn off the heat. Pour it into a porcelain bowl and let it cool for later use. Eat it with meals as needed. It has the effects of nourishing yin and blood, and stopping bleeding. Suitable for excessive menstruation, functional uterine bleeding, and all types of bleeding disorders.

5. Chinese plum and brown sugar soup. 15g of Chinese plums, 30g-50g of brown sugar. Cook the Chinese plums and brown sugar together, add 1 and a half bowls of water, simmer until only half a bowl is left, remove the residue and drink it warm. It has the effects of nourishing blood, stopping bleeding, and improving skin complexion. Suitable for women with excessive menstruation or functional uterine bleeding.

6. Red dates stewed with pork skin. 15-20 red dates (seedless), 100g of pork skin. Scrape the pork skin clean and cut it into small pieces. Wash the red dates and remove the pits. Put them together in a stewing pot, add a small amount of water, and simmer in a water bath until the pork skin is cooked and tender. It has the effects of tonifying the spleen and blood, and improving skin complexion and elasticity. Suitable for treating spleen deficiency type metrorrhagia and physical weakness.

7. Ginger juice rice wine clam soup. 3ml-5ml of ginger juice, 20ml-30ml of rice wine, 150g-200g of clams, suitable amount of cooking oil and salt. Wash and clean the clams, stir-fry them with peanut oil until fragrant, then add rice wine, ginger juice, and a suitable amount of water to cook together. Add salt for seasoning after the meat is cooked. It has the effects of nourishing yin and blood, clearing heat and detoxifying, and moisturizing and beautifying the skin. Suitable for excessive menstruation and physical weakness.

8. 90g of pomegranate peel, simmer with water until about 200ml, add a little honey for taste, take it once a day for 1 week.

9. 15g of ginkgo nuts, 60g of fresh river clams, 12g of astragalus, 12g of codonopsis root, 10g of processed hair (wrapped in cloth). Take one dose daily, stew with an appropriate amount of water, add a little brown sugar for taste, and drink it once a day. Take it continuously for 7 days.

10. 50 walnut kernels, roasted and ground into fine powder, mix with an appropriate amount of yellow wine and take it once a day. Take it for 5-7 days consistently.
