【Precautions】

(1) Ginseng should not be consumed with radish, as they counteract each other's effects.

(2) Ginseng should not be consumed with turtle meat, as it can cause adverse reactions.

(3) Ginseng is incompatible with Liru and Wulingzhi.

(4) Huangmao is a qi-tonifying herb, and its usage varies when it is raw or fried. Raw Huangmao mainly disperses external heat to the skin, can stop sweating, detoxify, promote pus discharge, and regenerate skin; fried Huangmao mainly disperses internal heat, tonifies qi, and tonifies the spleen and nourishes blood. The properties, flavors, and effects of Huangmao are similar to those of Huangmei. However, it is good at dispelling external heat and removing dampness. It can be used to treat edema and leg qi.

(5) Huangmao is a sweet and warm herb that tonifies the upright qi. Therefore, it is contraindicated for those with excessive yang heat and yin deficiency.

(6) Maidong should not be consumed with carp or crucian carp, as their functions are not compatible.
