Da Sheng Di 2 qian, Nu Zhen Zi 3 qian, Ze Xie 1.5 qian, Huai Shan Yao 2 qian, Dang Gui 1.5 qian, Huai Niu Xi 1.5 qian, Han Lian Cao 1.5 qian, Dan Pi 1 qian, Chuan Duan 1.5 qian, Sang Zhi 3 qian.

Erzhi Pill is mainly used to treat liver and kidney yin deficiency, resulting in heat, weak back and legs, and difficulty urinating.

【Precautions for Erzhi Pill】

This formula is a mild tonic for the liver and kidneys. It is not suitable for dizziness caused by yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity.

【Clinical Applications of Erzhi Pill】

1. This formula is commonly used for liver and kidney yin excess. Common symptoms include dizziness, insomnia with frequent dreams, sore and weak lower back and knees, dry tongue, and dry throat.

2. If there are symptoms of soft stools, weak limbs, and weakness, add Niu Xi, Du Zhong, and Shu Di Huang to tonify the kidneys and strengthen the tendons and bones. If there are symptoms of dizziness, blurred vision, and decreased memory, add Gui Ban and E Jiao to nourish the essence and marrow. If there is severe insomnia, add Yuan Zao Ren and Bai Zi Ren to nourish the heart and calm the mind.

3. This formula can also be used to treat sexual dysfunction, hypertension, and neurasthenia caused by liver and kidney yin deficiency.
