  In traditional Chinese medicine, Red Frost is believed to have the effects of clearing heat, detoxifying, cooling blood, and stopping bleeding. It is mainly used to treat burns, tooth decay, ulceration of sores, and external bleeding.

  1. "Jiangxi Herbal Medicine": "Cooling blood, stopping bleeding, detoxifying. Used to treat burns, tooth decay, and external bleeding."

  2. "Fujian Chinese Herbal Medicine": Clearing heat and detoxifying. Used to treat ulceration of sores.

  3. Treatment of lung abscess: Take one to two liang of Red Frost root, decoct with water and take orally.

  4. Treatment of burns: Mash the fresh root bark of Red Frost and apply the juice.

  5. Treatment of ulceration of sores: Take one to two liang of fresh Red Frost root, decoct with water and take orally; also take fresh leaves, mash them and apply externally.
 


 

  【Pest control of Red Frost】

  The plant is prone to aphid damage. For aphids, prevention is the key. You can use a 800-fold dilution of oxydemeton-methyl for spraying.

  The spraying time should be chosen between 8 am and 10 am or after 4 pm. The dosage should be enough to completely spray the leaves. For potted plants, spraying once every 5 days is sufficient.

  Red Frost does not require a lot of fertilizer. Just apply foliar fertilizer appropriately. You can use water-soluble flower fertilizer at a ratio of 5 grams per 2 kilograms of water.

  After preparing the solution, you can start spraying. It is best to choose a time between 4 pm and 6 pm, and the amount of water should be enough to completely spray the leaves. Spraying once every two weeks is enough.
