【Recipe Name】

Shudishuiyu Bao (Boiled Fish with Prepared Rehmannia)

【Ingredients】

One soft-shelled turtle, 30g wolfberries, 15g Chinese angelica, 15g Codonopsis pilosula, 15g prepared rehmannia

【Seasonings】

Clear broth, ginger and scallion juice, rice wine, salt

【Steps】

1. Wash the wolfberries, Chinese angelica, Codonopsis pilosula, and prepared rehmannia. Clean and slaughter the soft-shelled turtle. Blanch the turtle in boiling water and remove the internal organs, claws, shell, and head.

2. Pour the clear broth into a clay pot, add the turtle, rice wine, ginger and scallion juice, and bring to a boil over high heat. Remove any foam and add the wolfberries and prepared rehmannia. Simmer over low heat for 2 hours. Season with salt and serve.
