【Cultivation of Di Ding Cao】

1. Field management

Since Di Ding Cao is a shade-loving plant, it should be watered frequently after germination and strengthened management. When the main autumn crops are ripe for harvest, be careful not to bury the Di Ding seedlings. Water with frozen water before freezing to cover the circle with fertilizer.

After the thaw in the following spring, crush the manure blocks and level them. From Qingming to Guyu, when the new leaves have not yet covered the ground, apply 10-15kg of urea per mu, and water after application. Stop watering after Lixia to prevent stems and leaves from rotting and reduce yield.

2. Major pests and diseases

Around the "Jingzhe" period, when the seedlings turn green, there are often black larvae of a kind of lepidopteran, which bite the tender shoots of Di Ding Cao and cause great harm. They can be killed by spraying with Bacillus thuringiensis (No. 3 diamondback moth) at a dilution ratio of 500-1000 times;

or use 2500g of bacterial powder and 15-25kg of fine soil per mu to make a toxic soil and spread it for toxic killing in the field.
