【Cultivation Techniques of Wuzhao Feng】

  1. Unique Biological Characteristics

It prefers a sunny, moderate climate and a relatively humid environment, and has strong adaptability. It can be cultivated in high mountains, hills, and plains. It does not have strict soil requirements and is often found in wasteland, field edges, or roadsides. It is better to cultivate it in sandy loam with good sun exposure, fertility, and moisture.

  2. Cultivation Techniques

Propagation by division is the main method. Take the new plants growing on the creeping stems of old plants as seedlings, each plant should have roots. Planting can be done in spring (March-April) or autumn (September-October), with autumn planting being preferable. Dig holes with a spacing of 20cm between rows, plant 2-3 seedlings per hole, cover the soil and press it down, and apply diluted animal or human manure water.

  3. Field Management

Water the plants promptly after planting. For autumn planting, remove weeds and apply fertilizer once in mid-December of the same year. Remove weeds at any time after that, and do shallow cultivation and apply fertilizer once in May and September-October after two harvests. Fertilizers can be animal or human manure water or ammonium sulfate. After 3-4 years of continuous harvesting, the cultivation should be changed.
