Processing Ze Xie: Unlocking the Medicinal Potential

Ze Xie is a traditional Chinese medicinal herb that not only has the effect of promoting diuresis and draining dampness, but also can treat various diseases. It has a very rich medicinal value. However, due to the toxicity of Ze Xie itself, extra caution must be taken when using it!


1. Processing Ze Xie

Remove impurities, sort by size, soak in water until it becomes translucent, remove and drain, sun-dry, steam until the internal and external moisture is even, slice, and sun-dry again.

2. Bran Processing

Take bran and sprinkle it into a pan. When smoke rises, add Ze Xie slices and stir-fry until they turn yellow. Remove the bran, and let it cool. For every 100kg of Ze Xie, use 10kg of bran.

3. Salted Bran Processing

Take Ze Xie slices and moisten them evenly with salt. Sun-dry them, then add honey-treated bran. Process them according to the method of stir-frying with bran. For every 500kg of Ze Xie, use 6kg of salt and 60kg of bran. Add an appropriate amount of water.

4. Wine Processing

Heat a pan to 100 degrees Celsius, add Ze Xie slices, stir-fry several times, spray wine evenly, stir-fry until dry, and remove. For every 100kg of Ze Xie, use 5kg of wine.

5. Salted Ze Xie

Take Ze Xie slices, sprinkle and mix them with salt water, let them moisten for a while, put them in a pan, stir-fry over low heat until the surface turns slightly yellow, and remove to air dry.

(For every 100 jin of Ze Xie, use 2 jin 8 liang of salt, and add an appropriate amount of boiling water to dissolve and clarify) "Lei Gong Pao Zhi Lun": Grind it into fine shavings, soak in wine overnight, filter, and dry for use.
