Tansy is an annual herbaceous plant that can grow from 20 to 150 centimeters tall. It has strong vitality and can be harmful to humans, so it is important to control it and prevent allergies by understanding tansy through pictures.
Tansy Growth Characteristics
【Seed Stage】
Tansy seeds have a germination rate of 91.49%. The highest and fastest germination rate is achieved when the seeds are planted 0.3-1cm deep in the soil, while seeds deeper than 5cm cannot germinate.
Seedlings below the fourth pair of true leaves are susceptible to frost damage, while seedlings with four or more pairs of true leaves have stronger cold resistance. Seedlings in this stage exhibit clear heliotropism.

【Branching Stage】
This stage is actually the period of branch and leaf formation, with vertical growth as the main focus. When vertical growth begins to stagnate, the formation of branches and leaves also ends.
From late April to late July, lasting for more than 100 days.
The growth pattern is "slow at both ends, fast in the middle." The daily increase in plant height is 0.08-0.44cm in the early stage, 0.9-1.35cm in the middle stage, and 0.24-0.18cm in the later stage. The increase in plant height is 4.5-5.1 times that of crown growth.

【Flowering Stage】
The male flowers take 65-70 days, while the female flowers take 50-55 days. This stage focuses on horizontal growth. From July 31st to September 30th, the growth rate of the crown is 5.5-5.8 times that of plant height. At the same time, the stems and branches thicken and elongate rapidly, and the flower organs mature faster.

It is particularly severe in cities such as Shenyang, Tieling, Dandong, Nanjing, Nanchang, and Wuhan.
The cities of Shenyang-Tieling-Dandong and Nanjing-Wuhan-Nanchang are the epicenters of occurrence, spread, and proliferation.
Symptoms of Tansy Allergies
Clinical manifestations in patients include itching of the eyes, ears, and nose, intermittent sneezing, runny nose, headache, and fatigue. Some may experience chest tightness, shortness of breath, coughing, and difficulty breathing.
Long-term untreated cases can lead to complications such as emphysema and congestive heart failure, causing extreme suffering and even death.
Tansy plants and pollen can also cause some people to develop allergic dermatitis, with "herpes" appearing all over the body.
