Clinical Manifestations of Wind-Cold Constraint Exterior Skin Itching:


   Skin itching, dryness with scales, more common in winter, itching worsens with clothing removal or at night, commonly seen in the inner side of the thighs, the flexor side of the lower legs, and around the joints. The tongue is pale red, with a thin white coating, and the pulse is floating and tight or floating and slow.
 

 



 [Chicken with Ginger Shreds]  
  Ingredients: 300g of chicken, 50g of ginger.
Method: Cut the chicken and ginger into shreds. Stir-fry the chicken in warm oil until half cooked, then add the seasoning and ginger shreds, stir-fry until cooked.
Efficacy: Warm the middle, dispel cold, and relieve itching.
Usage: Serve with meals.
 
 [Congee with Scallion and Fermented Soybeans]  
  Ingredients: 50g of glutinous rice, 3 scallions, 20g of fermented soybeans.
Method: Boil the glutinous rice with water, then add the fermented soybeans. When the rice is almost cooked, add the scallions and cook until the congee is ready. Season with a little salt and monosodium glutamate.
Efficacy: Disperse the exterior, dispel cold, and relieve itching.
Usage: Eat in separate servings in the morning and evening.
 
 [Ginger, Cinnamon, and Red Date Decoction]  
  Ingredients: 9g of dried ginger, 10 red dates, 6g of cinnamon.
Method: Boil the above three ingredients in water to make a decoction.
Efficacy: Warm the meridians, dispel cold, and relieve itching.
Usage: Take one dose daily for 10 consecutive days.
