Chinese Medicinal Recipe: Stewed Tofu with Bai Zhi (White Angelica)

Ingredients

Bai Zhi (White Angelica) 20g, Tofu 400g

Ginger 5g, Spring Onion 10g

Pepper Powder 3g, Salt 5g

Monosodium Glutamate 3g, Chicken Oil 20g

Effects

Eliminates spots and whitens the skin. Suitable for individuals with multiple spots or dark complexion.

Preparation

1. Soak Bai Zhi overnight, slice and wash it clean. Wash tofu and cut it into 3cm wide, 4cm long pieces. Lightly pound the ginger and cut the spring onion into sections.

2. Put Bai Zhi, tofu, ginger, and spring onion into a stewing pot. Add an appropriate amount of water and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 35 minutes. Add salt, monosodium glutamate, and chicken oil. Sprinkle with pepper powder and it is ready to serve.

Usage

Consume once a day, as a side dish. Eat 100g each time.
